What is Viva Coach, and should my students use it?

A study partner that remembers what each student could not explain, and starts there.

Coach is available to your students on their own side of Viva. What makes it different from a general chatbot is that it is grounded in their actual interviews: it knows the concept they could not defend last week, so it opens there rather than asking what they would like to study.

It questions students rather than writing for them. It will not produce their assignment.
It works from what a student demonstrated, not from their grade, so it is specific rather than encouraging.
It never references another student or another course.
Class-level Coach usage is visible to you, so you can see whether it is being used at all.

The students who benefit most are the ones who did badly and do not know why. Pointing those students at Coach after results is a two-line email that does real work.

Each lesson opens with your own words, then names exactly what was missing from them.
