What if I am late? Will I be penalized?

Viva does not penalize you. Whether your instructor does is up to them, exactly as before.

If your instructor accepts late submissions, you can still submit after the deadline.
If not, submission closes and you will need to contact them.
Starting your conversation after the 15-minute window is recorded as late but is never blocked.
No automatic marks are deducted by Viva at any point.

If something went wrong — illness, an emergency, a broken laptop — tell your instructor rather than quietly submitting late. They can grant a retry or an extension.
