How does the grading work?
You are graded on whether you can explain your own work, not on how you sound doing it.

Two things are looked at, and your instructor decides how much each one counts.
- Understanding: can you explain the ideas, reason about them, and handle a follow-up you did not prepare for?
- Authenticity: does your explanation match the work you handed in?
What is not graded
- Your accent, your pronunciation, or how fluent you sound.
- Pausing, saying "um", or correcting yourself.
- Speaking slowly, or taking a moment to think.
- How confident you sound. Getting there slowly beats guessing confidently.
Your instructor can change any grade. If you think something went wrong, they are the person to talk to — and they have your full transcript in front of them.
