What is the 15-minute timer after I submit?
It is how long you have to start your conversation. It is not a lockout, and it does not cut your interview short.

The idea is simple: submit and talk in one sitting. It keeps things fair — otherwise one student talks straight away while another prepares for two hours.
- The 15 minutes is the time to START the conversation. Once you have started, take as long as the interview needs.
- It is not a lockout. At 0:00 you can still start; it is recorded as late and your instructor is told.
- It is long enough to fit one practice round plus the short wait while your questions are prepared.
- If you have an extra-time accommodation, your window is longer automatically.
