How does LMS integration work, and is there work on my side?
Viva works with Canvas, Moodle and Blackboard via LTI. Most instructors need to do nothing at all.

It depends on how you want to use it. There are three levels.
| What you want | What it takes |
|---|---|
| Just use Viva alongside your LMS | Nothing. Post the assignment link in your LMS as an announcement. This is what most instructors do. |
| Students launch Viva from inside the LMS | An LTI app has to be added once by whoever administers your LMS. Ten minutes of their time, once. |
| Grades flow back to the LMS gradebook | Same LTI setup, with grade passback enabled. Still an admin task, not yours. |
Rosters can also be synced from Google Classroom directly, with no admin involvement.
If you want the LTI route, send us your LMS and we will send your administrator exactly what they need. It is a short, standard request they have handled before.
