What is a credit and how does the credit system work?
One credit is roughly one interview minute. Nothing else in Viva costs anything.

Credits are how Viva prices the conversation.
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| A standard interview | 1 per minute of interview length |
| An image-based question | 1 extra for the interview |
| A practice interview | Charged like a normal interview |
| A retry or a mastery-loop attempt | Charged like a normal interview |
| Classes, assignments, students, reports, co-instructors | Free |
A 10-minute interview does not always cost 10 credits. Adaptive interviews end when the conversation is done, and you are charged for what actually ran.

Instructors get the rest — the walkthroughs, the screenshots, and Ask Viva, which finds the right page from a typed question.
