A credential you can actually check
When an applicant attaches a Viva credential, every figure on it was earned under live, voice-verified oral examination of their own submitted work. Not self-reported, not a certificate of attendance, and verifiable by you in seconds.
What it attests
The student answered adaptive questions about their own work, in their own voice, in real time. Ghostwriting and AI proxies cannot produce this record.
Each session is matched against the student's enrolled voiceprint; inconsistent sessions are flagged, and flagged work never inflates a credential.
The percentage of oral accounts fully consistent with the submitted written work, across every examined session.
Skill tags carry an evidence count: how many independent examinations support each one.
Three ways to verify
Every credential page is served live by Viva. If it loads and shows "Verified live", it is active and untampered. A revoked credential says so immediately.
Paste any number of credential links into the batch verifier. Each is checked against the signed record in parallel.
GET /api/credentials/verify?id=<credential-id> returns validity, issue dates, and the SHA-256 signature as JSON.
Scoring bands, integrity checks, and the examination method are documented in the public Viva Assessment Standard, which credentials cite.
